The next morning, Ani asks Ren to show her one of her favorite places from her childhood. When she was sick, she had a lot of free time, and Ren taught her everything she needed to know. Ani asks if Ren will share unhappy memories of her childhood with her, and she replies that she will. Ani then asks Ren if she and Ren went out for fun together when they were kids, and he replies that they did. Before Ren and Ani met, they went on a school trip together to build a sand castle. When they left, they were so into the project that they wouldn't leave until it was time to go home. Ani says that she's worried about Ren's health, and that she needs to be careful about him. She tells Ren that she doesn't want to be with Ren because she wants Ren to take good care of her. She says she'll do her best to keep Ren healthy, even if that means taking care of Ren herself. Ren says that he's overreacting, and Ani says she wants to support her from now on, because she needs Ren to care for her. When Ren asks if she has a fight with Ren, she says she didn't have one, and even if Ren steals Ren away, she won't give him up. Ani thinks that a girl who reacts to seeing a seashell is the girl she wants.
