In this chapter, we learn that the guy who came looking for Mina earlier in the day is different from the one who first came to visit Mina when she first arrived at the shop--he wants to talk to Mina for a bit, but Mina doesn't want him to do anything "absurd," so she leaves him to his own devices. Mina tells us that she has always been curious about the story, and that she wants to be like a wizard in the book. She's not sure if this is possible, but she's sure that it's possible, because the wizard and Mina are the same role. Mina worries that Mina is becoming too close to the shop, and she begs them to go home, but they refuse, saying that they need to return to their original world.
