She says that if she succeeds in her promotion, she will be the laughingstock of the play, and if she fails, then she will become a rich man. Roxane is glad to see that the play has gone off without a hitch. She thanks Roxane for saving her from falling, and says that she was surprised that he could laugh so easily because he has a "cute side" too. She also says that even though he is scary, he is actually a good man.
