About This Chapter
In this chapter, the protagonist explains that he will not forgive anyone who tries to interfere with his dreams. He feels that he has been tricked by a "pedant like him" . He wonders if he will be able to get away with it, and wonders why he has not been able to find a way to return to his own world. He tells himself that he is so stupid that he went out of his way to prove that he was not stupid, and that she is stupid. He then tells her that she has been persistent in her pursuit of the book, and she starts to pity her. She tells him that she knows nothing of the outside world, and he tells her to just sit wherever she likes.
