About This Chapter
In this chapter, we find out more about the Governess's life. She's been living with her parents in a creepy little house with a bunch of creepy cockroaches. The Governess tells the girl that she's lucky that she has a place to live, because otherwise she'll end up in a lot of trouble. The girl says that she doesn't want to go back to her parents' house because she wants to experience a fairy-tale love story like one in the book. She says that even if she can return to her own world, she'd rather not be engaged to a "weird pervert" . She also says that if she does go back home, she won't fall in love with him. The house is noisy, and the girl is excited to hear that it's getting more and more lively. She wants to find her "destined person" , but she can't figure out what to do with herself now that the door has been opened. She asks the girl to wander around the house and see what's going on, but the girl says she has no place to go, so she has to stay inside and wait for someone to show her the places that the wizard has seen before.
