The scene opens with Su's slap on the back of the Governess's head. The Governess begs Su not to see her in such a pathetic state. She tells him that she has been married for a long time and that she does not remember her husband's name. Su tries to get her to tell him who her husband is, but she can't remember. Su tells her to go back to the mansion and tells her that she should listen to him if she wants to be fired from her job
