In this short scene, we learn that the protagonist is an angel of life who is the giver of life and the reaper of death. He tells us that he has to take more humans to reincarnate in order to keep the ratio of life to death in balance. He explains that the birth rate is twice as high now as it was when he was a reaper. He wonders if it is because she is not crossing the street. He asks her if she wants to come with him and she says she does not want to act strong. He scolds her for acting like a girl and tells her to follow him.
