The narrator tells us that humans are fragile, and that they need one another, but they also need each other badly, like a "porcelain doll" that can easily be broken. He tells the reader that he's been calling Dinah, but that he doesn't know if she really has feelings for her. Dinah says that she does care for her, but she can't see how she could care less about her. She's just a girl who wants to be loved, and if she did something wrong, she'd ruin it. Dinah tells the narrator that they've had to push back the chapter "love ballad," which is supposed to be a love story, because Donny suddenly won't show up. She also tells Dinah that they have to tone everything down today, because they need to finish the rest of the story. Dinah is shocked, because she's heard that Dinah is the creator of the "angel's love" comic. She says that no one knows who the creator is, but Dinah assures her that it's not a romantic story, but a reflection of what she sees in her own life. Dinah also tells the story of Donny and his wife's fight, and she says that Donny will make up with his wife tonight.
