The reaper tells the old man to leave him alone and not to tell anyone about his job. He tells the man that he has hypnotized him and that he will not be able to resist him. He says that the reaper should not be involved directly with humans lives. He explains that humans die when they are supposed to die, but for some reason, they continue to live past their time of death. Because of this, he has been forced to intervene in the lives of many of them. He asks why the man came to him, and the man says that he wanted to come to him with someone, but he doesn't have much time. He also says that it is hard for him to control his body in the final moments of his life.
