The reaper asks Yuji to call him by his real name. Yuji says that he doesn't want people to recognize him and spread rumors about his secret lover. He tells Yuji that he'll have a drink for him before they go anywhere. He says that they can't go anywhere while he's in the reaper's body because he thought he was invisible. He compares the reapers to the prince who had to make a choice between his country and his friends. The prince had to choose between the loyalty of his country or the friendship of his comrades. Before he made his decision, he kidnapped the princess he loved and spent his last night alone with her. Yagi asks if the job of reapers is to take human souls. The reapers take the souls of human beings. The giver, on the other hand, takes the soul of a dead human. The scene ends with Yagi asking if he is his "angel of death." Yagi says that when he fell sick, all his friends and family came to visit him. They said that his condition would get better and that he would be with them again. They kept on visiting him for a long time, even after they realized that he was lying to them. Eventually, his family came and took care of him, and he was alone in the hospital for months.
