The next morning, Beiyi asks the Governess why she hasn't been with him. The Governess tells him that she's been hiding elsewhere and that she doesn't know where Beiyi is. Beiyi says that he's with the Pereskins and that there's no risk of him being found. He also tells her that he has a message for her: she can give him a name and he'll give her the location of jiangye's hiding place. He's in danger, she says, and she wants to know what's going on. She asks if he knows her, and he says he does. She also asks about her son, and when he says that she is his mother, she responds that they don't have a great relationship. She says that they should've been living together when she transferred the schools, and that's why she called him huaimu. She's also worried that they're going to
