Back at the apartment, Ming asks why she's taking a shower. Ming tells her that she wants to speak to her father alone. Ming says that he went to visit his father, but he didn't make it. She tells him that she met Bei Yin, an old friend of her father's, who was there for a business meeting. Ming wants to introduce himself to his father as a partner in a business venture. Ming sends Bei to work.
