In this chapter, we learn that Cai Ming's mother has died, and that she was thinking about Cai Ming when she died. Cai Ming wants to know why Cai Ming hasn't wanted to meet his mother. He says that his mother has already passed on, and Cai Ming has no right to criticize her. He tells Cai Ming that he's signed an inheritance agreement with Cai Ming, and all his shares will go to Cai Ming. He doesn't want Cai Ming to start a quarrel with him, so he'll give him two choices: Either he becomes part of the Ming family and dies at sea, or he disappears forever.
