Avaritia, one of the company's most powerful executives, jumps down from the auction floor and asks why he's so nervous. He's worried that someone will mistake him for someone else at the auction. When he gets down to corridor three, he realizes that the butler mistook him for another person. He asks if he can explain his situation to Madame Samle, who is waiting for him in the cargo room. He says that if something happens, he'll be blamed, but he doesn't want to hold her up. He tells her that she can trust him, and he won't say anything more. Samle jumps down and asks what's going on. He thinks that you're just acting like a normal person and pretending to be part of a bunch of shady business associates. He wants to know if you really are part of them. You're not, he says, because you've already chosen to work with them. They're only your hope, he tells you. If you trust them, they'll throw you in jail once the ship docks.
