In this chapter, we're told that lin-qi's plan to become a model has failed. We're also told that she was once bullied because she was ugly, and that's why she was kicked out of school. We also learn that her sister betrayed her to change her life, which is why her sister's contract has also been cancelled. Aww, this is just the tip of the iceberg, right? This is just one more example of how people's own demons are going to get in the way of their goals. Ooh, that'll be the end of the story, right there! Ooh! This is the first time we've heard about the whole "the beauty acquired plan" thing, and we can't believe that it's actually going to work out. We don't know what's going on, but we do know that this isn't going to be the last time we hear about it.
