About This Chapter
The comic opens with the narrator's dad threatening to throw away all his dolls and comics if his daughter doesn't go to a blind date. The narrator tells him that he's not going on the blind date because she's too young to have a boyfriend. He also tells his daughter that she shouldn't worry about finding her own boyfriend because she already has her own thoughts about what to do with her life. He tells her that she can go on the date as long as she looks like the comic artist she is supposed to be looking like. The comic's creator slaps his auntie's make-up on the face and asks her to thank him for not being more interested in her. He then asks her if she is ugly or stupid, and she responds that she is. She then asks if he is her boyfriend, and he replies that he is nothing more than "a leftover woman" . She says that she would rather be a "proud leftover" than a "regretted mom and dad" , and asks him to give her another chance to be her boyfriend.
