After graduating from college, the narrator announces that he and hyun are going to be living together. He's excited, but he's not sure it's too early to get married. He thinks it'll be a good idea to set a wedding date after they find a place to live. Aww, that's kind of like saying, "I'm going to marry you, but I'm not going to have sex with you until you're done with me" . The narrator then tells us that hyun has been learning how to play the violin, and that she's been crying because she can't keep her promise to hyun that she won't play the instrument until she gets better at it. The two of them have grown closer since then, but they're still awkward around one another. Ooh, sounds like a good time to tell us that you've got a crush on a guy named hyun! The narrator says he'd like to be a baker one day, but that he doesn't yet know who hyun's girlfriend is. He also says that he loves teasing hyun about his back and chest, and he feels bad for blushing for the first time. Whew. This is the end of the chapter, and the narrator is glad to be done with the story. He wants to know why the word "ease" still feels so distant. He wonders if there's a "thread in my heart" that can never really be untangled. He says that if hyun runs away from him, he'll run away as far away as he can until he runs out of love with hyun. That way, hyun will never have to run away again.
