It turns out that there was a thunderbolt, but it didn't really hit the whole town. So what's going on here? Well, we'll just have to wait until the next episode to find out. The narrator asks us to imagine what it was like to be in the corridor of mirth when the thunderbolt hit. He's not sure if it was a real storm or just a bunch of random people running around in the dark. He also doesn't know if the shop is open or not, so he's pretty sure that it was just a freak-out. We're not sure what the narrator is talking about, but he does say that he feels like his legs are starting to give out on him. He asks if she's okay, and she says she is. She's so confused that she can't even remember what happened to her legs.
