He says that he doesn't understand why abiko would want to help someone like Yusuke, since he seems to have no flaws. He wonders if Yusuke's "blood is red" because he is getting less and less human in his mind. He asks if there is something on her mind, and the narrator says that she just wants to see Yusuke act as a normal person. She wonders what Yusuke thinks about her, and wonders if he has finally fallen for her. She asks if she has fallen for him, and he replies that he hasn't. She says that if she keeps saying this, she'll think that she's being serious.
