"Don't Touch What's Mine" is the first soliloquy of the novel. It's the first time we're introduced to Hiroshi, and we learn that he's not a very good-looking guy. We learn that Hiroshi's mom is pregnant, and Hiroshi doesn't know how to take care of her. He's also worried about his mom's health, and he wants to make sure that she's okay. He also wants to be sure that his mom is okay, too, and that he and his mom aren't falling in love. He wants to know if his mom loves him or not, so he can figure out what's going on between him and her. Hiroshi tries to convince Hiroshi not to worry about what his mom thinks about him, but Hiroshi refuses to listen to him.
