The narrator returns home from his trip to Japan and asks his mom to bring him some food. He's tired from the trip, and he's not feeling well. He asks her if he can go out with her, and she says no. He doesn't understand why she can't go with him. He wants to know if she has feelings for him, and if she's serious about him. She tells him to wait and see if he'll tell the truth, and then they can just run away and do whatever they need to do. The narrator refuses to accept this proposal, saying that he would never want to have feelings for her. He tells her that if she wants him to help her out, then he will do it.
