In this short scene, we are introduced to our heroine, Soji, and her love interest, Miss saikawa. We learn that she is the daughter of a wealthy and well-to-do Japanese family, and that her father and brother have both declared her to be an angel and a goddess, respectively. We are also introduced to Soji's father, who is a doctor, and to his brother, who works as a lawyer. Soji is the eldest of the three children, and his father is the father of the younger children.
