In this chapter, we find out that Shmoop has been having an affair with Sakuraba since the beginning of the story. He's been trying to get her to let him have sex with him, but she won't let him do it. He tells her that he's already decided not to date anyone for the rest of his life, and he wants her to leave him alone so he can have sex alone. He gives her an order of fried shrimp and tells her she has thirty minutes to eat it or else he'll give her a $100 bill. He also gives her a separate room to eat in, so she can have her own private eating area. Shmoopers around, trying to figure out what's going on. He notices that she's looking pretty good, but he can't figure out how she could be so good looking. He thinks she looks like she just ran away from her lover, and that's why he wants to break up with her.
