The Titan's bride-to-be asks the King of France if she can marry her husband's highness. The King accepts her request, and they agree to marry. However, if the Titan fails to complete his part of the trial, the family decides that he should be subjected to the same kind of trial. The family decides to organize a bridal quiz to determine whether or not the Titan and his highness are really suited for each other. The narrator tells us that if the test fails, then the bride will have to admit that she's not a good match for the Titan.
