About This Chapter
The scene opens with the Titan's bride lamenting that she cannot fit the poison into her mouth. She coughs and laughs, but the way she's licking the tip of her tongue turns her on too. She's not sure if this is appropriate or not, but it's still a good thing that she saw him in the act of licking her lips. She tries to get him to play with her nip-huff, but he doesn't want to touch her. He says he can't even stop his waist from moving, and he's ashamed of himself for doing it. He wants someone else to love him and after that, his "deep, admira-ble charm" and "bashful nature" . The scene ends with a soliloquy about the importance of height and size in the royal family. The royal family is bigger than the rest of the citizens, he says, because they have a bed as big as the sea and a life style as luxurious as that of a royal castle. He asks if he can have a "raisa fruit" to counter the effects of the poison.
