It's raining heavily, and little Nemo wakes up to find that her master has fallen ill. She's worried that he's going to die, but Nemo reassures her that everything's fine. She tells him that she'll take care of him from now on, even if he doesn't like it. Nemo asks where her dog is, and she says that she didn't bring it with her, but she's sure that it ran away somewhere to hide. Nemo tells her that the dog turned out to be fake, and he'll make sure to find it right away. He's also worried that Nemo has caught a cold, but he assures her that it's the plague, and that everyone should cover their mouths and noses and boil anything they touch with hot water.
