In this chapter, Lin tries to explain why he can't transform back into human form. He tells us that there's an ancient tomb in the Heavenly Flaming Mountain that's been discovered recently, and it's killing people there. Lin says that if he can get his martial arts inheritance from these people, he'll be able to break through to the next level of creation, which is called the "ninth stage of creation." Lin also says that he heard that the Lin clan and the four other great clans will be sending their people to the tomb, and he's worried that they're going to kill him there.
