It's been a while since the last time we saw Lu, but he's back. He's got a bunch of new tricks up his sleeve. First off, he tells us that the spirit beast has destroyed the eggs of his brother , which means that Lu's not the one who's responsible for the destruction of the eggs. He asks Lu to take back his request for marriage, since it's clear that he and Lu aren't meant to be together. He also tells Lu that since the eggs have been destroyed, he'd better take back the marriage request, since he doesn't want to hurt his feelings for Lu. Lu is all, "Gee, maybe you're not meant for me, and I'm not meant to hurt you" . He then tells Lu to "swing well" , because he thinks that this woman might have something to do with his shadow swordsman. He tells her to take a look at his sword, which has just carved nine strokes. He says that his sword is like a flower, a leaf, or a human will, and that it means "the way of heaven," "the sword is heaven," and "everything in the world." He then goes on to say that he thanks Lu for the point, and he seems to understand that he didn't just give the point to someone else. He thinks that the sword marks are just a few, but that only when the sword is sharpened and purer can the person be truly strong. He wonders if Lu has an epiphany, and wonders if she's breaking through again. Lu points out that only few marks can really help people improve
