He tells them that he will do everything in his power to stand by them. He then tells them to try and break one of the seven swords, but that they will not be able to do so because the monument is still standing firm. He says that he put the monument there to attract the attention of the people, and that they should not judge others by their own actions. They decide to destroy the second and first sword monuments, which will give them an opportunity to learn more about sword fighting
