About This Chapter
The narrator tells his sister that he likes her so much that he wants her to take a break. He asks her why she got married so early, and she tells him that she did so because she met the right man. She says that she is naive, childish, and clumsy, and that her husband does not know her at all. The narrator also tells her that before they got married, her friends threw her a bachelor party, and many people called her crazy. She did not do anything embarrassing, she says, but when she asked the waiter to send her most beautiful girl to the party, he told her that she should send her "most beautiful girl here" . The waiter finally persuaded her to go home, when she suddenly held her brother, guanchao, and began to cry. He tried to explain that he was her brother but the look he gave her became stranger. He says that he can easily get drunk until he is out of control, but that he still has his principles. He tells her to play the part of a village girl today, and he will take her home.
