He asks her why she rented a flat three days ago when she came to visit him on a business trip. She says that she did not tell him that she was coming to see him. He tells her that he did not want to work and that he had given up his job willfully. The narrator asks her if she has a plan for her future. She replies that she has made up her mind and that she plans to find a job. She tells the narrator that she and the young man have been seeing each other since they were both in school. She asks if they are in a relationship, and he replies that they are. He says that he has experienced inner turmoils and that sometimes he and she would not answer his calls and he would not tell her what time it was. She apologizes for not having time to answer her calls, but she says she does not feel the "delicateness of her heart" at all
