About This Chapter
In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character named Baron. He is a member of the Ingal League, an elite group of interstellar warriors who have been created by the gods to protect the galaxy from the threat of alien invasion. Baron's mission is to defeat the metabarons robot, who has defeated him in combat. He tells Baron that he will have to train the robot for six hours in order to be a true champion. He also tells Barons that he has replaced all of the burned-out circuitry in the robot's body with new ones, and that the robot is now back on the holo-net. He says that the worst thing that can happen to the galaxy is that the rebels have taken control of the high-termitarium, which contains all the resources of the galaxy. He orders a bloodbath and prepares a ship to attack the rebels. Another survivor from the city has just returned from the village, and he is delirious. He wants to know what is on his wrist. He has a feeling that after 24,000 impregnations, the galaxy will enter a golden age of prosperity. He declares that the five thousand-year games will be open to anyone who has successfully completed the training. He adds that the ingal League is watching him and that she is waiting for him. He plans to fly to the city of Orgargan, the home of the Bergs, and kill the robot.
