About This Chapter
The transfiguration of the two beings has begun, and the creation of a starship has taken place. Solune, the androgyne, is the guide to the starship, and he explains that the only solution is for the father to place the luminous object at the top of the pyramid, and for the son to place his father at the bottom. This is the only way that the two can be united, and solune explains that he is the true father of the ship. He explains that his son has already passed him by, and that he will never be anything other than a "pathetic detective" . They discuss the matter on board the ship, and they decide to discuss it on the other side of the universe.
