In the middle of the night, a wolf-like creature is heard rustling in the distance. It's the disguised Li Ling, and she's glad to see her. She's been injured in a fight with a pack of wolves, and the wolves are looking for her, so they're going to find her soon enough. Li Ling tells the creature that she and the prince are both in the military camp, and they need to get away from the guards. She tells the wolf that she'll use a potion to distract the wolves, so that they won't attack them.
