In this short scene, the Governess attempts to understand the meaning of the word "squish" . She compares it to a dish of ice cream, which is a mixture of soft-serve ice cream and hard-boiled eggs. The Governess tries to slip the ice cream into her mouth, but she is unable to do so because she is distracted by the sound of someone else's lips. She decides to go to the festival that is being held at the former mall.
