Before he was born, the narrator says, he covered his face with "a mask became duty" . Now, he says, a pandemic has brought "common sense" to the world. He says that he and his friends have never seen one another's faces, and that their faces are as good as "naked." He wonders why boys have such "dirty minds" , and wonders why they are so excited about the upcoming drone racing tournament.
