In this chapter, we learn that Hirokazu thinks that he and Natsuko are going out, but that he's just going along with it because he wants to be nice. We learn that it's really shameful for a man to show his face to another man before getting married, and we also learn that this is a common practice in Japan, where people are so ashamed of showing their faces to one another that they don't even go out on their own. We're not sure if this is because the two of them are in love, or because they're just going out to have a good time, but we're guessing it is. We get the feeling that this isn't the first time we've heard of this. In fact, we'd be surprised if we didn't hear of it before this chapter.
