In a soliloquy laced with sexual innuendo, Roxane laments the fact that she is not allowed to call her "honey" to her boss, who is pretending to sleep. When she realizes that he is trying to seduce her, she cries out in anguish, "I've always loved you. if you keeps talking like that. i'll be unable to go easily on you. " She tells Roxane that she will not be able to get along with him if he continues to act like this. When he finally relents, she calls him a "scarecrow" and tells him to "swallow slap off god" .
