The scene opens with Atsuko and Jane in the middle of a conversation about Jane's disappearance. Jane is upset because she has been unable to find out what has happened to her, and she wants to go to a meeting to discuss the matter. Jane asks the manager why he is not helping her. The manager tells her that he is still willing to help her, even though it is against his nature to do so. Jane tells the manager that she wants him to give in and let her go, and the manager agrees to do just that. Jane then asks why the manager is not trying to stop her from going to the meeting, and he says that it is because he wants to take control of the company. She tells him that she will be his trump card, and that they will take over the company and make him their boss. She then asks him if he is going to slap her. He says that he will slap her, but she says that she can't stay, because she cannot hear him. She asks him to come in, but he refuses, saying that he cannot hear her, because he is busy with the meeting. He then asks her to come into his room, and when she refuses, he tells her to take her pant pant and pinch her.
