This short comic opens with a soliloquy by the new master of the army, Tanpan, who tells his master that he is the boss and that he should do what he likes. The new master tells Tanpan that his meridians are "screwed up" and he cannot sit straight. He is wounded as well. Tanpan says that he does not see the difference between himself and the other soldiers. He says that his body is "wounded as well" . The master tells him to be "reasonable" and not worry about anything. He adds that he will carry out any instructions that the master gives him, but that does not give him any right to do so. The old master says that staying up late will help Tanpan's hair loss problem. He tells the old master that his new master has gone to the city of Lan and saved the body of the dead man, and that they are going to the spot where the body was buried.
