About This Chapter
In this short comic, a young man named "changpan warrior" is on his way to find "ze que" , a man who is rumored to be a member of the "zhongli manor" family. The young man has been robbed at an inn, and the shopkeeper tells him that the people from the manor have taken all of his belongings, including his coding book. He is thirsty and wants to go to the manor, but he doesn't know how to get there. He asks the shopkeeper if he can have a cup of water, but the shopkeeper says he can't, because the place is so hot. He also tells the young man that he smells great, and asks if it's balsam, jasmine, or jasmine bud. He's not sure, but says he'll take some of the money and return it to the shopkeeper. He tells the shopkeeper that he heard that the eldest son of the manor sent men to find people again, and he wonders if this might be an important news. He wonders if anyone is willing to sit at a table with him, and wonders if the man from the inn is the same man he saw earlier. He wants to listen to what the other man has to say, and decides that he needs to hear the conversation.
