In this short scene, we are introduced to a new character, the "changpan warrior" . He is a young man who has just returned from a trip to China. He has just arrived at the port in which he is to board a ship bound for Hong Kong. As he is about to board the ship, he hears the sound of a man's whip, and he leaps to his feet to catch a glimpse of the man.
