In this chapter, we are introduced to Mr. Han, the wealthy bachelor who has been invited to the ball at the Hilton in New York City. He is very excited to be at the ball, but he is also aware of the fact that some of the girls present are "princess" and some are " cinderellas" . He tries to persuade his brother to dance with him, but his brother refuses, saying that he already has a partner for the dance and that it is up to the girl to choose her partner. He tells his brother that he is a terrible dancer and that he will have to "take it easy" if he wants to dance.
