When Lin learns that his brother has gone to the toilet, he tells him that he has seen the woman with the snake and that she has seduced him. He tells Lin that he will pay him when the snake is done. Lin is flustered and faints. He is not poisoned, he says, but there is a "lack of medical ethics" in the medical profession. Lin tells him to get out of the car and says he will take him to meet someone.
