In this chapter, Ruchi begins to realize that he has fallen in love with Mina and wishes to try out for a romantic relationship with her. He realizes that Mina's parents are not aware of his new love, and he asks kyouya to walk him home when he's done with Mina. Mina tells him that she gave him a key to her room and that she'll be safe walking home. Mina says that she doesn't know about lending out rooms, but she's just letting her friend borrow hers. Mina wonders if this is normal, and wonders if it's okay for her and Mina to be in love. She wonders if she should worry about how Mina gave her back her key, and she wonders if Mina will be okay walking home after all. Mina worries that Mina and Ruchi are going to get into trouble if she tries to help them out. She's worried that Mina is going to be jealous of Ruchi's love for Mina, but Mina says she'd rather not worry about that. Mina thinks that she and Mina are in love because they want to go out, and that Mina wants to be with Ruchi because she wants to try something new. Mina is surprised that Ruchi has suddenly started to be interested in her. Mina wishes that Mina would just tell her anything, and then Mina would tell Ruchi what's going on. Mina loves that she has to tilt her head to look at Ruchi.
