It's been three years since they first met, and Ruchi is now 22 years old. He tells Ruchi that he thinks he's a bit older than he actually is, because Ruchi has been working abroad for three years now. Ruchi wonders if Ruchi's being lonely because he is separated from his family. He asks Ruchi if his family is good at reading lips, like the families of his deaf friends. When Ruchi asks what Ruchi means by "weird," Ruchi tells him that he doesn1t understand what he means. He says that he wants to show Ruchi how deaf he is, and that he can1t believe that Ruchi would want to be with him. He wonders if he will ever be able to communicate with Ruchi, and he wonders if someday Ruchi will think of him that way. He also wonders if his mom is going back to Fukuoka.
