About This Chapter
In this chapter, Emma tells us that she's not going to tell her friends and family that she and Oushi are engaged. She's worried about what's going on with her brother-in-law, and she worries that he's crying because of the rain. Emma says that she can't believe that her sister is so dependent on him, and that Oushi will drop everything to help her out whenever he can. She also says that her own friends have asked Oushi to date her, and even asked him if he would date her once. Emma tells her that she never wanted to be friends with Oushi, because she doesn't want him to think of her as a friend. She says she'll accept everything about her, even if it means giving up on her sister. She tells Emma that she feels bad for letting Oushi know that they're engaged, but that it's better for her to tell him about it first, because it will make it easier for him to believe that he loves her.
