This chapter opens with the disciples from the emperor's palace at Xianyuan gate entering the ring. The first person to enter the ring is the mountain ghost of the shadow clan. He greets the disciples and tells them that he is the disciple of the emperor and that he belongs to the void emperor. The shadow clan is known for being very fast and sly. He tells the disciples that they should not worry about the emperor because only the representatives of the void empire deserve their attention. He then tells them to go and kill him.
