He tells them that many people saw the monster in the corner shower and that he's going to kick it ass if it shows up again. He says that winter has been getting colder, so he doesn't think the girls will be able to get out of bed anytime soon. He also says that the doctor is treating Izana, but that she's not going to wake up any time soon. The girls open the door to find a message from Yuhata. She says that they've seen a body in the photo synthesis room, and that she wants to thank them. She tells them to be careful, because the monster is already in the room. They're going to get the monster, she says, and they need to move the kotatsu to the other rooms in the house so that she can share the same energy with her sister. She adds that she will be living in the same room, too, starting today. Shreve comments that the girls should stay inside and wait for the monster to show up, but the girls say that it's too dangerous for them to stay outside.
