The next time we see Hiromi, he's in the middle of a battle. He's just returned from the battlefield, and Hiromi asks him what's going on. Hiromi tells him that it's been a long time since he'd seen anything like this, and that he was happy to see someone who was "really under ground his whole life." Hiromi says he can't figure out if this person is a man or woman, but he can tell that they're not exactly the same person. He tells Hiromi that he'll have to take care of the ice-block mining operation, because it'll be a "critical assignment" to secure resources.
